My work is rooted in a lifetime of summer days along the shores of Long Island, New York and the ever-changing beauty of coastal landscapes. From my childhood spent on the beaches of Huntington to family days on Atlantic Beach with my own children, I have been drawn to the atmosphere and serenity of the shoreline. Dunes + Horizons
Artistic creation and producing art have been constant threads throughout my life. My paintings are intentionally open-ended, so each viewer may find their own memory or sense of place within the landscape. In recent years, I returned to painting, finding in the fluidity of oil paint a welcome contrast to the precision of knitwear design.
